Pixel 4XL 5G Variant Seemingly Surfaces on Geekbench

Various leaks, rumors and even full-diddled hands-on videos over the by few weeks have revealed key information about Google'south upcoming Pixel flagships, but a new listing on Geekbench has now seemingly confirmed that at least the bigger model will come up with a 5G variant. Equally can exist seen from the screenshot below, the device, listed as Google Pixel 4 Xl 5G, comes with similar hardware to what nosotros already know about the standard Pixel four Xl model.

Do note that listings on Geekbench are easy to fake, then it cannot be said for sure at this phase whether this particular one is authentic or not, but given that 5G is expected to get more widespread over the next year, and with most Android vendors starting to offer 5G phones fifty-fifty at the mid-range, information technology won't be a surprise if Google does offer 5G connectivity with its side by side-gen flagship(south).

Either way, the phone's criterion scores are forth expected lines for the Snapdragon 855, with the device scoring 761 in the single-core tests and ii,326 in the multi-core benchmark. In comparing, the Galaxy S10+ with the same chipset notched up 731 and 2,547 points, respectively. The listing also revealed the phone was running Android x, was powered past the sm8150 (Snapdragon 855) and had 8GB of RAM.

In case y'all don't know information technology already, Google is all set up to launch its fourth-gen Pixel flagships adjacent month, and a bunch of leaks over the past few weeks have already revealed some of their key tech specs. The larger of the ii, the Pixel four XL is expected to ship with a vi.23-inch 90Hz display, the Snapdragon 855 SoC, a rear-facing dual-cam setup and the much talked-about Soli radar fleck that is expected to assist gesture control.
